I had to go to Phoenix in December for our annual budgeting meeting and since I'm still nursing Dylan he had to come along for the ride. Thankfully mom was able to meet us there and watch Dylan during the day while I worked. We had one day to ourselves so we headed out to the Superstition Mountains and enjoyed watching the evening sun set.
Mom attended the Phoenix company Christmas party with me and we even danced. Here she is by the old truck parked in front of the venue.

We were fortunate enough to stay at the Arizona Biltmore (on the company dime). It was a beautiful place to stay.
While Dylan and I were in Arizona, Andy and William had an adventure of their own - our furnace went out. After braving it in the cold house for two nights, they headed to a hotel to warm up until we got our new furnace installed. Dylan and I left one hotel and arrived home to stay in another. Thankfully we have a new awesome furnace now and we admit to enjoying the time in the hotel just a little (see below). William loved getting in the 'hot pool'.
