We went camping at our secret spot on the Kitsap Peninsula the 2nd and 3rd of July. It was a very hot weekend (by PNW standards) so we played in the Dewatto River while there.

We were just walking in the water, but one slip and he was wet from the waist down. So, we just enjoyed it! We saw baby fishes in the river and a baby snake and crabs down on the saltwater beach.
The water was cool, but not freezing.
And, why not just bring your potty with you? Beats those outhouses mommy and daddy had to use!
