Road Trip!

After we all were sick last week we decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Oregon this weekend while we were all feeling well. It was a warm sunny weekend. We left Saturday morning and came back Sunday afternoon. We went to Portland and visited the Oregon zoo, then traveled east to Hood River, Oregon where we stayed the night and visited the Full Sail Brewery. On the way home we stopped at the pumpkin patch.

William had so much fun at the zoo! He walked at least of half of the time and pointed at the animals so much we thought for sure he would get a cramp in his finger. So, here are some of the highlights of our trip (in three posts). I'm having trouble getting photos to load so I have to leave out a couple of the animals William is pointing at, but you get the idea...

William's favorite part of the zoo was watching the fish and turtles underwater. Unfortunatley I didn't get the camera out soon enough, but here is one of him pointing at the fish.
