One Year Old

Today is William's first birthday so I'm sure you're all looking forward to some birthday posts. We'll have some great photos from his party on Saturday and probably some more from tonight, but I wanted to get a couple on here today.

I can't believe it's been a year. A year ago this moment I was driving home from work (in heels and a dress) because my contractions were only 10 minutes apart! Needless to say, 11 hours later he was born. And, what a beautiful moment in our lives that was. At that moment we entered in to a new phase of love as a couple, and as a new family.

So, this morning we woke up to a wonderful, smiling little boy while wondering how in the world a year had already past, and how we ever lived without him.

To our little schmoo and buddy... we love you.
